Tuesday is here and I'm ready for my day to end already! I'm super tired after staying out too late last night at the birthday bash with my fair Patchoula. We had a great time laughing, drinking and sharing stories about hilarity in general. I really enjoyed myself and have a bit of a hangover to prove it. Alas, the match was not made and much to my surprise, Patchoula was ok with it, but I don't think he's going to give up on this one. The man is lovely but lacks in stature to a degree that makes me feel like an Amazon, which I'm not a fan of. Nonetheless, he is terrific and someone that I would definitely like to be around again. Since I didn't have any expectations, I made a point to have a blast and let things fall where they needed to. And so it shall be.
I am leaving work early today to meet up with my actual guru because we have hit some bumps in the road that need to be smoothed over with a little work and inspiration. We have made our way to Plan D since A,B & C were not options. I'm trying not to feel disgruntled because obviously those options did not work out for a reason and this is where we have been lead. I know my description is very vague friends, but I cannot get into the specifics just yet. And also because I may sound like I have lost my marbles. The stuff we have delved into is pretty supernatural and really cool. It has tested my narrow pragmatic views of the world, universe, energy and God in a way that has had a profound impact on my internal belief system. Don't worry, I'm not going to turn into a new age hippie. If you know me at all, you know I can't go more than a couple of days without shaving, love to bathe and embrace capitalism.
